Tronoh is a small town located at the heart of Perak. It is a town populated by the Chinese and the Indians. I seldom see Malay here. Due to this long existing town before Independence, it has rich history and there are abundant of antiques, textures and stuffs like that, which attracted the lens of every photographers who come here.
Maybe i should include some infos from Wiki.
The tin-mining industry boom during the early 20th century saw Teronoh grow from a small village into a major town. The centre of the mining field containing the mine of the Tronoh Mines Company, Ltd. was the village of Tronoh. The Tronoh Mines Company Ltd. belonged to Chung Thye Phin, a rich businessman (towkay) and last Chinese Kapitan of Perak and Malaya. It was here in Tronoh that Thye Phin’s famous deep-shaft mine could be found.[1]
A railway line linking the town and Ipoh was completed in 1909 and used to transport tin ore. The tracks were dismantled by the Japanese during World War II and were never rebuilt. Shortly after the war ended the tin industry deteriorated, and with it, the importance of the town.

Tronoh was very empty when i visited that place. These two kids were playing at the bus station, and they looked so happy. I noticed there is no adults nearby but maybe they were busy cleaning up the stores or they might be doing something else. So i approached these two kids, who i think they might not know Malay language so i just talk to them in English. and that is just LOL.
I show some gesture on asking them permission to take some photos and after that they looked so happy watching their photos in my small LCD.
if you like what you see, i would be happy if you can leave some comments or Like this page. Thank you.
